I very much disagree with this strategy.
I like the idea of one offensive guy who can breakout the puck and one guy who sits back as the shutdown.

Too much D on one pairing hurts it because you can't break out of the zone and you get hemmed up in there. Too much offence and you can get in big trouble defensively.
