havent posted yet tonight..... but is the consensus McIlrath is not ready/ played a terrible game tonight?
Maybe I am not the one to answer this, since I haven't seen the 3rd period yet, but I do not think that is the case at all.

McIlrath got caught out of position a couple of times. That catches peoples eyes.

Most of the time, McI makes the solid plays thare are expected from him. Last night was the first game of the year for everyone cept Dom Moore, and the game was quite wide open and McI mis-read plays and when he does that he cannot recover.

To make the team he gotta beat out Strålman/Moore. I don't see him doing that.
