Murray was traded from a playoff team and saw his ice time increasingly getting reduced with age, even with the pens. He's still a bottom pairing d-man, but you need to put things into perspective.

Diaz, on the other, received MORE minutes from his first season. More not less.

Both are bottom pairing D-men, let's not kid ourselves. I think Diaz is still better and with Tinordi looking upwards and Emelin returning, Murray could be the odd man out.
