This even opens up the opportunity for a smooth transition to the AHL next year if he needs it. I know he had some time with the Marlies last season, but this time around he would be their #1 with full playing time in all situations.
Don't have to be in junior to play in the WJC. NHL teams can allow eligible players to go.
