I'm not going to lie, I've never really liked Perron and part of me kind of wants him to fail to prove I'm right. Petty, yeah but I'm human. Doesn't help that he went to a team I can't stand.
That said, I think he's in a better position to succeed now and will do fine.
I'm probably never going to comment on the trade just because I don't look at trades insofar as who won the trade as most people do. If the Blues are better as a team, I'll view it as a good move and win, even if Perron is outperforming Paajarvi (and I expect he will).
In the long run, I think both players involved will benefit from the change in scenery.
