Oh well... We would be lucky if Komisarek become has good as Hamrlik.

Hamrlik is a workhorse that can log 30 minutes a game, plays with an edge, plays on the PK, the PP and is a true general on defense. I notice that he seems to be underrated.. He might not be having his greatest offensive season, but still..

I wouldn't do the trade either because I don't like trading away our best d-man prospect for a 29 year old d-man when we aren't a contending team, but you have to take into account that Komisarek might never become as good as Hamrlik..
