So ROR is worth more than Yakupov, Klefbom and Dubnyk?

Sheesh, anyone have any comparable trade where a recent 1st overall who lead his team in goals in his rookie season, a highly touted blue chip defender and a middle of the pack starting goalie got traded?

I bet if a package like that has ever gone out, a lot more than a ROR came the other way.

It's crazy how much people over value players. Like Cory Schneider got traded for a 9th overall pick and he's a top 10 goalie in the league.

People need to understand, real life doesn't work like NHL 14.

I would bet money that if Roy offered ROR straight up for Yakupov, any GM would say no. Yakupov just holds more value than ROR, it's simple as that sophomore 1st overall picks are worth ALOT. Guys that might turn into Selke caliber forwards aren't, maybe once he's in the discussion (nominated) for a Selke. We can start talking equivalent value with a sophomore 1st overall pick.

Also, I highly doubt Yakupov's peak is a 30-30 season. People said things like that about a recent first overall pick in Stamkos after his rookie season too.
