It might stand, but its not necessarily accurated portrayal of a player. How many games has Scatchard played injured in, how does coming back from injury after layoff affect ones play especially considering he has only played 24 games (which skews the statistics). Are they nagging injuries, or one injury that has never fully recovered.

PPG only stands if the player is 100% healthy (or as close as an NHL player can get), is in full game shape, or truly healthy versus fit to play. All these circumstances clouds the reality of so called stats and facts.
