Yeah the Hawks have a great D, but coming to Chicago, he'll learn from some of the best Dmen in the league and be part of a team that has a chance to win the Cup every year.

Not to mention, there's a legitimate chance that he could step onto the Hawks' roster next year. Yes, there will be tons of competition, but Rozsival probably won't be back and likely Brookbank won't be either. That'll leave two spots up for grabs and he'll be competing with Clendening, Olsen and Dahlbeck. Potentially Kostka as well, if he's brought back.
Business is business. Making 80k for two years or stepping onto some club - minor or pro - making a guaranteed 600k?

Until he's signed a contract I'm weary of him staying.
