Am I the only one that sees a difference between a "show-boaty" goal and a flamboyant celebration that directly targeted an opposition player? Where do you draw the line in the sand (on the ice?) between a nice/pretty goal and a show-boaty one deserving of retribution?

Another question, what else did a player have to do in 1972 to warrant a violent response? If I recall correctly, all you had to do was be better than everyone else:
