You're exactly right, which is why I would suggest putting someone like White between Bourque and Gionta on the "3rd line" and keep that 4th line together as is for now. I thought Desharnais was better than the previous game, so sitting him next game would probably send the wrong message, but it's the way I'd go if/when it got to that point.
