As for the Challenge Cup, the Soviet game MVPs were (just going by my memory):
Game 1: Vladimir Golikov
Game 2: Valeri Vasiliev
Game 3: Vladimir Myshkin
The tournament MVPs were Boris Mikhailov for USSR and Clark Gillies for the NHL All-Stars.
If there's a glaring omission it's Phil Esposito for Game 8. You'd think 2 goals and 2 assists, 3 of those points in the third, including the primary assist on the game-winning goal, would be enough for him to be named one of the top 2 Canadians ...
