It might be tiring, but it's the reality. RNH, Hall, Yakupov are all good young players, but they are a notch below Crosby/Malkin/Ovechkin when it comes to talent. It will take a while for them to establish themselves as star players (See Sedins, Thornton etc). The team also has major holes (starting goalie, 1D, 2D, 2C) and lacks overall depth. They should take time to see what Eakins can do with these guys, then try to plug some of these holes in the off-season through free agent signings and trades. Gagner, Eberle, Yakupov, Smid, Klefbom, Marincin, 1st in 2014, 1st in 2014 should be in play next summer.
