I have oddly shaped feet with really high arches, I need a wide/super high volume skate, and after about 15 minutes my arches would be absolutely killing me. I tried the yellow superfeet which didn't really help, tried loosening specific parts of the laces which helped a little, but what actually ended up helping the most was completely skipping a cross-lace across te middle of my foot. So instead of going across to the other side i go up one eyelet then across. (I could post a pic if i need to) It made a huge difference for me, I've done two or three games since I switched and for the first time since I've started planing I completely forgot about my feet because they didn't hurt.
