While I do commend the patience of the coaching staff for "sticking with them", I feel that some line changes may be necessary. That being said, I would wait until Higgins gets back (~ week or so). If they haven't started clicking by then some changes will happen (they'll happen anyway getting him back in the lineup). Getting Higgins back healthy just gives this team a lot of options.

How about:

Latendresse - Koivu - Kovalev
Samsanov - Higgins - Ryder
Perezhogin - Bonk - Johnson
Begin - Plekanec - Streit
I agree with you! IMO, there's no need to break two combo:

Latendresse and Koivu
Perezhogin, Bonk and Johnson

There's also a couple of things that needs to be changed:

Ryder on the first line
Kovalev with Samsonov
Higgins back in the line-up

That's why this line up would be great and would help us 5 on 5

Latendresse - Koivu - Kovalev: Playmaker with big players on the side...lots of scoring
Samsonov - Higgins - Ryder: Higgins at centre? Worth the try. A little bit of everything
Perezhogin - Bonk - Johnson: You know what you get
Begin - Plekanec - Streit: Plakenec would make that line going

I need to call Carbonneau!!!
