Both Chiasson and Desharnais can both be consistent producers and have nothing to do with each other. You know who also has very consistent numbers? Sidney Crosby. Based on your thought process here, this must mean Chiasson will be just like Crosby.

Great argument you've made.....

It's not a bad thing to say that Chiasson has good consistency based on game-to-game point production, this would hint at a solid level of effort and the fact that he's a significant, consistent, and proactive player when he plays. This stat doesn't measure his defensive or physical abilities and, as you know, stats don't tell the whole story. However, as I said before, I've also watched him play several times in the AHL (and in Dallas) and I can attest to his physicality and involvement in the play.
