Kovalev has been guilty from time to time of giving up on the play, however, this is a terrible thread to even think of starting after the game he had last night. He played most of the time when he was on the ice and a couple times stopped a good scoring chance by NY with strong backchecking. He could be playing hurt, I don't know. The point is he contributes pretty much every game and there's not too many players that have his ability to control the puck along the boards. Aside from a brain cramp once in awhile, which every player will have one and a while, he's a stellar performer.

Our team sits in third place in the conference and our goalie is tied for the best save percentage in the league. Quit complaining and just enjoy the game.
