This is the best response to the idea of patience. This team is rudderless. With no idea what it is or where it wants a to go other than "Our goal is to win the Stanley Cup."

If the team was playing hard and adjusting to a learning curve, then patience would be in order. If they had a farm system brimming with talent, then patience would be in order. If the front office showed any ability to formulate a long term strategy and stick to it patience would be in order.

As it stands we've had 13 years or basically the same with varying degrees of success and failure neither has been really great or abject.

I've been patient enough.
