I do like Craig Rivet, as he brings a lot when he's on his game... (When I mean a lot I mean he is a good contributor). He is easily the most predictable player on our roster :p
The past 3 years (this one included) the first half, Rivet always had a problem of not being overtly sharp... Until January, when he buckles down, and easily becomes our top defensive defenceman for the second half... I am very glad he's here... again. As this stretch run I think will be an important one for our organization. Gainey has done his analysis, and I am sure he is looking at any weaknesses... The stronger the players play (i.e. there are 37 games played, if we finish like lions, a good bet is we keep all of our prospects... If we finish in the middle, there will probably to be A change (minor)... or if we finish off weak, there will be an overhaul). A strong Rivet on a decent team (which we finally have) could be a huge benefactor of us finishing like a lion.
