Weinrich is not weak. He is a stay at home defenseman, and a damn good one. I would put him above Ragnarsson on the Flyers depth chart. Therien is very defendable as a fifth/sixth d-man. Vandermeer is a bit weak as you say, but still, he has shown that he can play at the NHL level. I preferr Seidenberg to him, but what can you do? We have 8 NHL ready defensemen because Hockey is a sport where injuries are common. Would I like to have Desjardins back in the line up? Certainly, but he will be back for the playoffs, so why trade away more future assets to replace him?

We are just fine right now. Any more injuries and it is time to start looking at impending UFA's like Carney, or a block buster to get someone like Hammer or Brewer.
