Anyways, I think with Monahan looking like a future #1C Toews type player, that relieves alot of the organizational pressure from drafting Jankowski early. They can afford to leave him in college to develop, and if hes a #2/3 C in the future it wouldn't be a waste of a pick.

Or he could pull a Charlie Coyle and leave college for Junior at the end of this year. Since he turns 20 on September 13 next year, could he play in the CHL NEXT season?
I don't see why he would. College is equally as good, if not better, for development, and the physical aspect in particular, which is what he needs.
