He's had 0 Points in 7 games, and app 0.5 points in the 67 games before that. If he can get back to be a + player producing 0.5 a game, that would be an improvement from being a healthy scratch. He's in an absolute, and maybe also a relative slump and I have no problem with him being scratched, but if you cannot even recognice that he's been way better / the physics of a boucing ball (not sure which one) it's hard to find a starting point.
But see that's the thing. He's compiled those misleading numbers of three small sample sizes — not over a 67 game span. He's never showed what he can do over a prolonged stretch.
