Well, first I would shift Nash to LW.

He scored about 40% of his goals from the Left side for the Rangers last year.

Yes he was playing RW predominantly, but he can be a very effective LW'er as well.

Plus Downie embodies the type of player that we need to populate the Rangers roster.

So even if Nash stayed as RW'er, I would MUCH rather perfwer Downie as the teams 3rd line RW over any roster player we have or any minor leaguer we have in the system.
