That's probably about right to think about it this way. He gained 15 lbs (hopefully muscle) since last season. If he gained an additional 10, 7, & 5 in the subsequent years, it would send him into the AHL/NHL for the 2016/2017 season at right around 210. That's not huge these days but plenty big enough for a 6'4 frame. I'm no flames apologist but the guy is skilled, and he has excellent vision. He's either a decent #2 or very good #3 center, not bad for where they picked him, though it will have been a long development horizon. The flames aren't going to be competitive anytime soon though, so I'm not sure it really matters, unless you're a flames fan.
