I think the only thing against Kovalev is that from time to time he gives up on the play in the neutral zone and coasts around while the other team gets a good scoring chance. Other than those little brain cramps, he's one of the best players on the team. No one can spin around on the boards four or five times with two or even three opposing players on him like Kovy can. He's a positive force on this hockey team but he does let us down once and awhile. But, of course, every player has a bad shift now and then.
