An interesting parralel article can be found on hockeytraderumours.com (or something like that)... essentially, it says that Canadiens fans are, on the whole, are too quick to trade away their assets due to an impatience, a desire to see stardom right away.

C'est dommage.
Just curious...Juste curieux...(not bashing you!)
Who did we trade away? Among our prospects? (Balej for Kovalev, and...who else?).
We were patient with Markov, Ryder, Higgins, Komisarek, Perezhogin...
We will now be patient (I hope!!) with Kostitsyn, Price, Grabovski, Chipchura, Lapierre, Sergei Kostitsyn, Halak (not that we need to!!), Emelin, O'Byrne, Milroy, Fischer...
Latendresse is the first 19 year old in such a looooong time to crack the lineup (& we've been waiting for this type of Power Forward for a looooong, looooong time!! The fact that he's French Quebecois is an extra bonus, IMO).

TORONTO is the one who is quick at trading their assets...:
Brad Boyes for Nolan
Tuukka Rask for Raycroft
AND...& also many First Round picks given away (for Leetch, Francis, Housley, etc...) in order to attempt buying a Cup...
