If you want Corey Potter on your team, that's your thing, but he's a marginal NHLer/AHL guy, lets stop pretending he's more then that or he'll achieve the same status as the legend of Ryan Stone.
Sorry JJ, I don't mean to sound smug, but I think people forget what some stats mean. I don't disagree that Schultz should be on the third pairing, and greater defensive depth would have helped with that. But that's not Potter's fault - that's on Tambellini.

I realize that plus/minus isn't an exact indicator, but a -17 for Justin Schultz, with a plus 8 for Potter - is a 25 goal differential difference. That's speaks volumes for two players playing on the same team, in front of the same goaltender.
