Yak to KHL is rubbish IMO.. He has no desire to play there and isnt your typical Russian.
He is is like from the Quebec of Russia... Republic of Tatarstan declared independance from Russia 10 yrs ago but are still sort of attached to Russia.

The guy bolted out the first chance he got... and got his parents out the first chance he got.
