Eakins by his own statements wouldn't have it any other way and is STATING he would much prefer being in such a passionate market.

Some of the players/personnel that don't want such criticism may be individuals that you don't necessarily want. I fail to see how much competitive individuals that truly want to be their best and win would have much of a problem in this market.

I'll use this cities other sports club as an example. The Eskimos truly suck in every way. Yet this doesn't stop the fanbase from having continued respect in the players that are actually putting it on the line every week for the club. So that efforts like Stamps, Reilly, Bowman, Hill, Curran, get acknowledged. But yeah, if you're playing poorly here you'll here about it. That could be even a motivating factor.
