You really don't understand why people have that reaction? Seriously? Pekka of the last couple of seasons has certainly not been the Pekka of legend, but even in those seasons he has strung together stretches of brilliance. Of course Pekka is going to get more leeway, its just silly to even try and compare the situations. The fan base has every right to be skeptical of Hutton. They were skeptical of him from the moment he was signed, and so far he really hasn't done anything to shake that. 4.78 and .824 over the last two laughers isn't going to instill confidence in even the most casual of fans. It's just not realistic to say Hutton has to bounce back and play better, when you don't have a large enough sample size to know if that's even possible.

I love Korn too, but not every goalie he touches turns to gold. It's very possible Poile made a mistake signing Hutton. It's also possible he could settle in after a dozen games or so and be the stud in goal this team desperately needs. but if you think people are overreacting now, let him have a couple more games like the last two...
