I am just staggered by how terrible the special teams are this season.

I think it's obvious to anyone that they will be giving Eakins the full season.

We'll see Hemsky and N. Schultz moved in the next 10-15 games I think. With the Oilers holding onto some salary. Then, after this season (unless something materializes) they will need to make some real decisions on Hall, RNH, Eberle and Yakupov. I would not be opposed to moving BOTH Eberle and Yakupov to get the right pieces in place (a no.1/2 D and a top 6 RW with skill and grit). I am also 100% fine with trading Justin Schultz, who is not going to be effective here - and not worth the money he'll be asking for.

This was MacT's hire and a rookie GM isn't going to fire a rookie coach after 20 games...the only comparable would be Barry Melrose - who was canned after a 5-7-4 start with Tampa in 2008-2009.
