GP 7 W 4 L 1 OTL 2

Last year, he was 37-8-2 and has done nothing but prove he is NHL ready. He is in Providence because the worst place for him would be sitting on the bench watching Rask play.

Something about Eberle and Marchand together seems to make sense and I don't see Eberle being the guy shipped out of Edmonton. Hamilton is the price you pay for Hall.

Combined this is what the Oilers need at a price that is over the top to make them actually consider it. All three instantly start logging serious minutes in Edmonton as the starter, Marchand takes Hall's spot while Hamilton inserts right into the top pairing after spending two years watching Chara.

Finally, all three are 25, 24 and 20 with great contracts and controlled for the future.

The Oilers aren't moving Hall.

He's the only player on the team that has legitimately developed into a dangerous and effective NHL player.
