I think what you guys may be overlooking is that Locke has decent speed for the OHL, but in the AHL/NHL he will have problems with his speed, skating, size, strength, defensive zone coverage down low, along the boards, in corners. I think he has excellent vision and playmaking abilities. He can find the open man anywhere on the ice, and is a real threat on the PP.

Forget the numbers he's putting up (which are sick) and wait till he's at the next level. No one can say how he will do in the AHL, but imo, it's a better way to gauge what Locke can do, then going off his abilities against 16-19 year olds. I am impressed that he has been able to do so much scoring with new linemates, but I am concerned at how he will handle the bigger, stronger, faster AHL players.
