Lowe offended lawyers, agents, NHLPA, labor interests, teams, common sense, all in one swoop.

It was brilliant efficacy in losing credibility. The only thing missing was the trapdoor. Which somehow never fell. That the village idiot was in command should've been palpable.
I remember 4 or 5 years ago, they asked George Laraque if it's true that free agents don't want to sign in Edmonton because of the weather, the city etc. He chuckled and basically hinted that most of it had to do with people running the organization.
