Oh yeah. The metro areas of Atlanta are you typical wealthy family with kids, with 6 figure incomes. Those are the main people that go to Braves games. The Atlanta downtown and midtown area for the most part has zero interest in baseball, and it's not until you get into the Marietta/Cobb, Sandy Springs/Dunwoody areas that you start to tap into their market. The Marietta/Cobb area is obviously where the stadium will be, then their next biggest markets that are all still part of the metro Atlanta areas, are not very far at all.

One you get south of the city, like literally when it ends, it turns to the ghetto areas. East and West Atlanta for the most part don't have a lot of communities interested in baseball. That's where you have the artsy crowds, the gay neighborhood, etc.

I'm most curious to see what they are going to claim to do with Turner Field after they move, because I can't think of a damn thing that would justify the operating costs.
