MDZ's value is pretty low, Wings don't really have much to go after him although I would be interested.

I will agree with Oilers fans that Petry for MDZ right not is a negative move, though that doesn't mean front offices don't have a different take on their value.
Well, not to take this too far off topic, but 1) the fact that Oil fans are even considering Yak being moved shows a drop in value. He was untouchable a few months ago. It just hasn't dropped to the point where our team is trying to unload him. Big difference. 2) MDZ has been around a lot longer than Yak, and if he still can't hold his spot, it hurts his value. A sophomore being healthy scratched is far less of a concern. 3) The Oilers aren't shopping Yak, the Rangers apparently are shopping MDZ. The team shopping a guy often (not always, but often) gets the lesser end of the stick.
