Yep, sanding trucks are out there.

Heard reports earlier today of people sliding backwards downhill on 23ave going to riverbend. Thats the one kind of condition I despise. But the trick is to nest on very edge of road where you can find some snow pac traction. People end up sliding backwards when their tires are right in the established, well glossed, tire tracks.

That said if card slide back into you very little you can do. Better not to be there at all. I avoid such locations at all costs and always use different routes. For instance Capilano bridge and Highlevel bridge are always the best crossings. Bellamy hill and Queen Elizabeth hill and the like are always cluster****s in these conditions. You want to avoid severe hills in these conditions.
