He was on the invite list, is second in points on the Habs and can play at Wong or centre. If the US wants to go young as they normally do, then I think his odds aren't that bad.

Besides, even if he doesn't make it this year, he'll likely make it next time around. Point is they will both likely be teammates for the US in the future as well as for the Habs. Why not play them together to help develop some chemistry?
