I seriously think Souray is no flash in the pan, if you've been watching habs games you'd know that the team's entire powerplay centres around the guy. His shot is just incredible, and I don't think, barring any serious injury, that will change anytime soon. Gagne is a good player, but I don't think he has anywhere near Sourray's value. I mean, come on, Souray is his team's leading PP scorer, and is on the first PK pairing, plus he is used to shut down the oposition's top line every night. How many players can you count that could do that? And have there ever been any players like this that have not gone on to a great career? Gagne is 4 years younger, which he has going for him, value wise, but is making twice the salary that Souray is and is 2 years removed from a good season. This doesn't even come close to a fair deal.
