If Sather wants to, I wouldn't be surprised if he can convince Dolan that Jagr could make that kind of difference. And if all Dolan wants is to make the playoffs this year and to hell with the future, Jagr might help us sneak in. Then Dolan can extend Sather's contract.

Hell, if we win a round why not make Sather "GM FOR LIFE"?

I was referring more to change in the team with Thomas and Wilkens in stead of Layden and Chaney not to the personell on the team.

And Dolan needs to realize that Jagr is just another in the line of "difference makers" (Lindros, Bure, Kovalev).
