I dont think the two games are the issue. Think it is more about the price. If they sold the upper deck seats for $80-120 and the middle for about $150-250, and 60-100 for field level and bleachers, the tickets would have sold so fast they wouldn't be having a public onsale. What these teams fail to understand, is they can't have every chip in the casino. Yes, at those prices, the scalper would have made some money, but so would the league. By setting the pricing to the point where their no profit room left for the scalpers, you drive out a big chunk of the demand.
