I don't think Doan or Hanzal drop them, but who is going to keep those 5 honest? Do we have a counter on our team? We just seem to set ourselves up to get ran over game after game and then wonder why a guy like Garbutt can run around doing whatever he wants. Nothing against Garbutt other than there should've been a 2 minute minor, but we can't continue to be the team getting ran over game in and game out. Now with our PP sucking teams will even take more liberties as who cares, we won't be able to do anything about it.
This is almost like Reilly and the Eskimos, guys weren't afraid to hit him late because the Esks really couldn't make teams pay.
I agree. This team isn't built for any kind of push back. If we are going to go with a smaller skilled top 6, we will need to have a big physical bottom 6. Having guys like Smyth and Hemsky for the bottom 6 was a horrible decision.
I expect the Yotes to knock us around tonight and 50/50 we lose someone to injury. Gazdic certainly can't do everything, and if he didn't kick our ***** in that last preseason game, he probably wouldn't even be an Oiler atm.
