This team's resiliency is a joke. It's laughable to see some fans say that this year's squad has a chance at winning a cup because the Kings did in 2012. Eh, the Kings were playing some ****** hockey during that regular season. That said, you could have made a legitimate case as the time they were underachieving offensively. Mike Richards had a pedestrian regular season - the Rangers don't have a proven star center like that who is currently underachieving, and a center duo of Derek Stepan and Brad Richards is not comparable to a combo of Anze Kopitar and Mike Richards. They had also not acquired Jeff Carter until the deadline, and that was a huge factor in their cup run.

Maybe if Callahan, Girardi, Staal, and Hank pull their heads out of their butts, we'd start closing out some of these games.
