Kreider, emerging as a serious threat to win the Calder as Rookie of the Year, is becoming one of the NHL’s most immovable forces from in front. That’s where he was to chip home the loose puck that all but ensured that the Rangers would get at least one point out of the match.

Kreider was in Broduer's grill all night on the PP. AV put him back on the first unit PP a few games back. He took off Callahan off. Kreider is getting better and better as the net presence guy. Now they have him handling the puck a little more on the PP. He makes a really good pass to the D after winning a battle for a puck. There was a nice give and go with McDonagh in the first. Kreider ripped a shot wide from the slot. A few more inches and its in.
