Keep doing whatever you can. Reach as far as you can each time you try it. It may seem like you can't reach and won't be able to reach but every time you turn your foot you are in fact stretching out whatever it is that needs to be stretched. It took me maybe a month of skating 3-4 times a week with occasional practice at this to go from being able to open my foot 45 degrees to a full 180 degrees. Keep at it, the reach will come.
