@ Nassau Coliseum. DiPietro stopped all 28 Rangers shots, including 14 in the third period, as the Islanders downed the Rangers 2-0 at home for their third victory over the Blueshirts this season. DiPietro victimized the Rangers on a night when Lundqvist himself was nearly flawless with 36 saves. His outstanding performance in net kept the game scoreless for its first 36:43 before Arron Asham broke through with what stood up as the game-winning goal.
