This theory would hold more water if he was playing up to his capabilities before the extension.

Anyway, his overall numbers aren't bad. What's bad is his penchant for early goals and back-breaking softies. He never really had that problem before this year. He'll give up 2 or 3, make some great saves, but the 2nd or 3rd goal always seems to be in the middle of the third period and off a shot that most starters in the league would have no problem putting in the corner. For the money he's paid he NEEDS to make those saves.
