D is great to play if your team knows where to be in the defensive zone (puck support) & cycles the puck in the offensive zone (gives passes back to the point).

It's no fun if you're in your zone behind the goal line w/ the puck, look up & see 3 opponents between you & your closest teammate who's @ the blueline.....
