'Bulin's fine, but he may've stopped about 2 more shots Saturday night and still given up 7. Those goals were great shots because there was no pressure on the shooter in each instance. Those shots were rockets that were well placed. The goalie was left hanging in each instance.

And isn't 'Bulin now a backup to Grahame, having been outplayed? If 'Bulin were to go on the market, I don't see a lot of demand for him, and Tampa would likely be trying to move a contract and to get a backup for Grahame. That's not the situation in which a team trades its leading scorer, even if said leading scorer is underperforming by his standards. I understand about being preemptive, but outbidding like that is crazy when there's deeper problems within the organization.
