The play he made after he came back on last night, and the sheer determination and speed which lead to his goal was impressive. What wasnt so impressive was that he actually missed the puck alltogether, granted the end result was a goal.
I think you answered your own question. Kreider needs to play like that every shift. He's bigger and faster than just about everyone in this league, so he has no excuse to float. He needs to establish himself as guy who defenders need to be aware of on the ice. Until that shift, he was floating too much.

Nash gets the benefit of the doubt from the coach because of his pedigree as a scorer in this league. Once Kreider has a few 30 goal seasons under his belt, he'll get a longer leash.
